Like they said $200 is a far price for one in excellent condition. $2600, must have been looking a something else. 100% blue book of gun values is $220. That means unfired in the original box.

Yeah, $250.00 is a little low. The Glenfield Model 30A is not the Marlin Model 336, but in another sense, it is. The main difference is that the Glenfield has a walnut stained hardwood stock (usually birch) whereas the Marlin as a walnut stock. Depending upon condition, with the scope, it should be in the $350.00 to $400.00 range.

My Glenfield 30A with the short mag tube and end capped forearm is the most accurate of my four Marlin made 30-30s! I replaced the stamped dear head birch stocks (which I still have) with some new Walnut checkered stocks I got off of ebay! Now it looks like a 336sc (sporting carbine). In regards to front sight on a 30A (S), going to a 3/8 wide dovetail is a perfect fit to the barrel compared to the too wide 1/2" dovetail stock one.
