When Grimmchild is lost by banishing the Grimm Troupe, the number of Charms the Knight is considered to have is reduced by one. Obtaining Carefree Melody returns this lost Charm. Salubra's location in the Forgotten Crossroads Achievements. Blessed Acquire all Charms and receive Salubra's Blessing.
If you banish the Grimm Troupe you get the Carefree Melody. If you don't banish the Grimm Troupe then you keep the Grimmchild charm. In my opinion, Grimmchild is better that Carfree Melody.Grimmchild doesn't have the best accuracy, so its tends to miss quite frequently. It's fine as a backup damage on its own, but not extremely reliable/dependable. So unless your playstyle is focused on being evasive rather than straight up confrontational, you'll find better uses for those 2 notches. Personally, I prefer Glowing Womb. After upgrading all 3, there is still the Legeater until her tent disappears. As much as I know, banishing the Troupe removes all tents without the upgrades, leaving you with fragile charms. Grimm ritual will just consume whatever remains of Hallownest (which could be saved considering Radiance is defeated/sealed by the Knight) and the Grimm Troupe is slaves to the Nightmare Heart. Gameplay wise, neither Grimmchild or Carefree Melody are that good imo.If you don't banish the troupe you get to fight a version of the troupe leader that's basically him but on crack and he has a new attack. Once you defeat him you get the fully powered up version of the grimmchild. If you banish the troupe you will lose the grimmchild and you will recieve the carefree melody.Nope.
