The dev of GShade added Malware that instantly shuts down your PC if you run GShade using the workaround a 16 year old kid made to circumvent the forced updates wiping presets. When asked why he did this, the Dev's response was because he was "teaching the kid a lesson" and that "the payload could have been worse."

GShade's preset format should look like this: FeatureLevel=40901 Techniques=<preset list> TechniqueSorting=<preset list> [Shader Name.fx] <shader options> Some preset creator might be using shader that's not pre-installed with GShade, e.g. RTGI. That might be the cause why you're not seeing the same visual effects.
