I picked up some junk armor to throw in my dismantling bench while out traveling with zombies and gave it to one to carry for me…. I noticed he “equipped” it and his armor value raised. Although it didn’t render visually (still wearing the tattered clothes), the armor was in the equipped slot and he had higher armor value.Sorry for the long video.
