I had 4K service installed a couple of weeks ago. The service worked for about an hour, and then I started getting a "Location not Authorized" message every time I try to access a 4K channel.

It is just how the service has been built, so is not a capability they have. Sorry you got an AT&T agent who has essentially no clue about what they speak.
