That was to drill holes in the spot where posts go fro the bed next to the cab and use 2 or 3 of the antenna mounting bracket backs for spacing purposes and mount a Wilson 2000 Trucker antenna with a 10" or a little biggershaft going between the coil and the mount. The more of the wip sticking above the cab the better.

The gooseneck style mirror is needed when you tow a 96" or 102" wide enclosed trailer. There is no way to see behind the trailer with the nemo mirrors. My truck had nemo mirrors and had to go with the gooseneck mirrors when I bought my enclosed trailer.
Been done already in several threads. One guy made brackets and was able to keep the vent window but it doesn't quite look right to me. With the mirrors folded in you have that vertical separator (between regular window and vent wing) right in the middle forcing you to fold them out for daily driving like you're towing something...
