Otherwise the price was very appealing. There are some great priced 22 WMR bolt action rifles available right now that I'm looking at (and can send you a link or two if interested). I'd probably save for an old Winchester or Browning if still shopping for a 22 WMR pump. If I wanted a quality 22 WMR lever at a decent price, I'd get the Henry.Off-target. My Henry .22 pump action is very accurate, and up to now it has been totally reliable. It has probably had around 1200 rounds through it so far, without any issues at all. It is really a 'fun gun', and although I'm an indoor paper shooter, I wouldn't hesitate to take it out hunting with me.The .22 Mag. also has the benefit of better bullet construction and flatter shooting at range over the .22 LR. The Henry is tubular fed with the magazine housed below the barrel. Unfortunately, the semi-buckhorn rear sight and bead front are a bit harder to use at 100 yards, well within the .22 Magnum's reach.
