So my next idea was to check for corrupt data with the switch's feature for it. I did this for Botw (the only thing on my microSD, and it said none was found). I proceeded to clean it and restart and switch. I am fully up to date btw. After this, I tried a couple other things, and I came to the conclusion reformatting it was the best idea.
