Apr 4, 2017 · We've lost MP5 and G3/HK91 receivers because not changing the recoil springs. The receiver will start to bulge where the bolt carrier bottoms out at the stock. The weak recoil spring allows the bolt to come back with so much force that the rollers eventually to put reverse dimples/bulges on both side of the receiver. I had one of the JLD PTR91s with no muzzle device. I sent my barreled receiver to Jayson and got one of the IGF press on breaks. I think he charged me about $50 for the installation and $40 for the break but that was several years ago.
