"Full disassemble" is taking off the bonnet, taking out the globe (dumping the litter), taking out the bottom tray. Spray down and scrub inside the globe. The base gets scrubbed, particularly the pinch detector! Wipe down the outside of the globe and the bonnet, scrub anywhere that got some litter on it.
The pinch sensors are simple, just two metal leafs that separate when a pinch is detected. The leaves however can get out of alignment or can corrode and disintegrate. Ensure your cat did not enter Litter-Robot during the clean cycle. If your cat did enter, please press the reset button after use. Ensure the litter level doesn’t exceed the raised fill line. If there is too much litter, please remove enough to meet the fill line. Inspect bonnet tabs for corrosion or debris. Remove debris or corrosion if evident.
