The short holster do flip out on you more. I sold off my 26 length holster years ago. I also sold my velo and went to a certum3 with a very slim foam wedge. I found the velo’s jump too large. I minimized. I was carrying a tier 1 with a light. They are nice holsters but too bulky with sharper edges. The Velo body contour built in wedge is great plus you don't have to replace it like those foam wedges every few months. My draw is faster as well out of the velo. I like the camber bar better on the Certum but like the split clips better on the Velo4. Velo is nice as long as it settles into to the crease of your leg/pelvis. Don’t need to tighten the belt that much. The Certum is nice because it can go anywhere from 12 to 6.A lot less bulk for the tenicor vs the vedder in my experience , making an easier carry. The tenicor clips are hard to take on and off compared to vedder but way more secure in my opinion. Tenicor was always better than Vedder. Vedder gets recommended a lot because they are less expensive. My next holster is a C&G.Waste of money, the Velo 4 is far superior and the retention screw doesn't work double duty for the claw. The biggest problem I have w/ Tenicor is the limited selection on models they make holsters for, its so comfortable that it limits my decisions on what my next handgun would be. Really wish they would make a Velo 4 for the CZ P-01/Compact.
