The temp gauge on your dash is just an implied temp, not an actual reading. Your EVIC should show actual coolant temps. But to answer your question; yes, the 3.6 runs hot. Apparently that is where it is most efficient and happy.yeah, the middle is a bit high for the 3.6L especially if you are driving. But like you, normal temps for my 3.6 is just slightly above the 1/4 line. I'm new new to the jeep community.
