That didn't work. I thought maybe it was because the sensor was dirty so I removed the bonnet and the globe and wiped down the sensor with a moist microfiber. That didn't work either. The work around seems to be just keep resetting the gauge a couple times and it seems to be ok for 2 more days or so before the waste bin is actually kinda full.
