But PA remains a really problematic state, geographically, where so many kids are not within easy commuting distance of any college, and this plan doesn't help with R&B. Hard to find a school with more research or clinical opportunities for pre-med than Pitt. Every other building is a hospital. I can't speak to all of them, but I do think they are a big perk/advantage. My D22 received the GAP for Nursing. I will say that she does not at this point have the 3.5 GPA requirement.
