Gmc sierra radio display not working.
There are two ways to do this. First, you can visually inspect your Sierra’s radio fuse. There’s a wire between the two prongs. If the connecting filament is damaged, power can’t reach the head unit, and the fuse needs to be replaced. A better way to verify a fuse is functioning is to use a test light.

Grab a short piece of bare, single strand wire. Hop in the driver's seat, turn on the ignition and stereo. Listen to a nice song. Then, turn off the ignition. Open the door if you want; the switch is disconnected so the stereo should still be playing. However, consider this: Bad, weak, and old batteries in these trucks have a tendency to make all sorts of weird things happen. First thing I would check is relay not sure if a different relay is used in auto. Verified this in a cold truck and hit the speaker with a hair dryer, once warmed up speaker worked fine. I replaced the speaker and have been fine since.
That is a system update screen and generally, shouldn't be user accessible. The security light would also blink like normal when the truck was off. Now after replacing the batteries, the radio doesn't turn on. If I hit the power button or Info button the radio button illumination will cut on. The time will show for about 10 secs and cut off.
