Posted 2/28/2015 20:55 (#4421684) Subject: John deere 926 moco? s.e. Pa. I have owned a john deere 920 moco for 6-8 years. Has been very good, but is an impeller machine which I don't like. 110 hp will barely pull it in heavy hay. Last summer I used my bil's NH, and liked it. It was quieter, pulled easier, and I felt dried the hay better.

Same width. 926 is the later model. Main difference is the cutterbar housings are made out of tougher material and are lower profile. Have seen many cracked 925 housings and the market is strong for used ones. I would pay thousands more for the 926 unless the 925 had much less wear.See Green Thursday!
