My biggest surprise is how well the hybrid system works. After a couple days you dont even notice the engine cycling on and off. The cost difference between Hybrid Limited and Prime is around $10,000. For this money you can purchase 2500 gallons. (assume $4/gallon). You would need to drive the Prime for 100,000miles (@40 mpg) before amortizing the investment. However the Hybrid is noisy with a Poor quality passenger seat. Drove both back to back, venza was a quieter more lexus like ride but the shape made it feel smaller inside and seemed to have less cargo space, ended up going with a Rav4 hybrid. Plus rav was a bit cheaper. The Venza looks more refined and the RAV4 is a bit rugged looking.
