And even if it were, bikes don't hang well on the tailgate because of how fat it is. The distance between down tube and fork is not nearly enough for the bike to sit down properly. Easy, fast and makes putting the pad on much easier. The bike isn't super secure due to the extra fat tailgate but with another bungee around the seat tube it didn't budge.
