Right now, the Seamoth does not have a max depth. Max/Crush Depth warnings can be ignored. Because there isn't any way in-game right now to upgrade it, crush depth in the Seamoth is disabled. Upgrades, when implemented, will be a function of the Moonpool module.Personally, I enjoyed using the seamoth more. The agility and size just made it way more fun to use than the seatruck. If anything it should have come back with the ability to carry a prawn suit for those deeper depths. Or hell, just make it possible to upgrade it to much lower depths too, so we're not just stuck with prawn suit forever.Crafting the Seamoth Depth Module MK2 is done in the Modification Station. The Seamoth should actually go deeper than the Cyclops. Like Ottomic said, the less surface area, the less pressure per square pound. The submarine that explored the deepest depth on Earth could only fit 1-2 people. AT their base versions, the Seamoth max depth is about 25m deeper than the Cyclops.

Seamoth is more useful imo. I used it as my main vehicle for everything right down to it's max depth limit, for everything else I used Cyclops and Seaglide. I basically only ever used the Prawn for going inside the lava castle, and for mining obviously.Giving max crush depth at 900m, you can explore with it only in the Lost River (or part of it).
