There's no recall on the horizon for this issue. In 2017 Chevy Silverado owners filed a class-action lawsuit. This lawsuit addressed serious material quality issues in certain GM trucks and SUVs sold between 2007 and 2014. Drivers are frustrated with Chevy’s response.
