Edit: so after a bit of google searching I found this dupe method it works much better then dogmeat. The only problem is the serum is so small it's tricky to get the grab timing right. Correction: You will get one-shotted a lot in early survival. Period end stop. The difference in HP is paltry in the earlier levels. More serious is the lack of equipment to mitigate damage, which then makes the HP pool you have count for more, etc etc etc. Here's what you want to do.
