Marlin 783 bolt.
So, my recently acquired Marlin 783 has been misfiring. Not on every shot, but too often for my liking. I've given the rifle a fairly good cleaning (chamber, bolt, barrel and stock), but I think the problem is that the firing pin needs to be cleaned. The problem is, I can't get to it, because the breech bolt assembly pin is stuck.

This is a vintage JM marked rifle in excellent overall condition. 22" barrel and full length magazine tube are excellent with bright blue finish. "JM" marked. Bore remains bright with crisp rifling.

Marlin model 783 .22 WMR. Looking for some feedback on this model. I picked up one today for $50.00 and it is in 98% shape. Very good (like new out of the box) blueing and and not a scratch anywhere on the metal parts. Two very small scratches on the underside of the walnut stock forearm that disappeared with a bit of rubbing and some Rem-Oil.
