When provided with approximate center coordinates, Pixinsight's Image Solver is able to solve the images, but given the number of images that I need to solve (and the fact that there is no information in the headers about even approximate position) this ... Removing it from the repository does not remove the script. You want a fully up-to-date repository list, and they use Resources > Updates > Reset Updates. I resolved the issue by a clean install of the OS and then a new install of PixInsight. Not optimal but there appeared to be something in my migration from an M1 Mac to the M3.
