Revit architecture forum.
The position, dimension and another data I take form the revit model. The doubt is because I spend more time per detail in revit than in autocad. however, I admit that I meanwhile build my detail item library (2d) during the engineering. because I don't have any (revit) detail item in my library.
A User Coordinate System (UCS) in AutoCAD can be moved/changed and the Shared Coordinate System can be moved/changed in Revit. In simple projects where we aren't applying materials we have shared parameters for ceiling, floor, wall base and all 4 walls. We then can create a room finish schedule which has the finish marks, and finally a finish schedule that shows the manufacturer, etc. of each ...

If you want to miter 2 beams at a corner, simply select one of the beams and right click on the blue dot on the end. You'll see a command for "Edit Beam/Column Join". Select that.
