Nov 12, 2020 · I'm a futures trader and tried many brokers. All of them use FIFO rule and it kills me. Trading is hard (and hardest way to make money). FIFO rule makes it harder. I never ever enter full lot. Let's say i am trading 10 lots ES. I usually start with 3 or 5 lots and average my position as it goes against me. tradovate is what i like the most is so straightforward, the biggest drawback is that you cant manage multiple accounts as seamlessly as you can on ninja. Tradovate is also our recommendation. I think managing multiple accounts will be better in the future with Tradovate, since Tradovate is now part of NinjaTrader.Tradovate and Rithmic at the same time? Yes, you are able to connect to both and trade them at the same timeCQG, Rithmic and Dxfeed are pretty good bets. IQfeed is very reliable, but on the expensive side. Many futures brokers provide free data anyway (CQG or Rithmic) If you specifically need MBO then your choice is limited to Rithmic. IQfeed announced it as well. What I said is I don't like Ninja Trader as much as TradeStation or Tradovate. Rithmic data can be a little less reliable though. I like to see the orders trading stocks, but I stopped looking at them for futures long ago. Eventually should thoroughly explore Bookmap at some point, but haven't had time yet.
