Best of both worlds. I prefer the legacy because it is light and can take the Lancer Carbon Fiber handguard. I think it just comes down to what you value - I have Virtus, Legacy, etc uppers and they all have pros/cons, IMO. The legacy uppers are definitely lighter weight.

Virtus is heavier because of the barrel, has improved tighter lock-up on the handguards and a better stock trigger. The bolt is also shaped differently to reduce lugs from breaking off.
