To turn off RAB there are two different icons and for some reason people tend to press the icon than turns off the warning but not the icon that turns off the braking. The warning icon is on the bottom right and the braking icon is on the bottom left of the reverse screen. When I push start I hear the starter clicking multiple times quickly with the headlights flashing. RAB off - SRS Airbag System - Eyesight has a line through it. The car will not start. gbhrps. Here is a picture of the subie backup sensor. Notice the side clip spring (has a small rectangular opening dead center of it). There is another one on the other side of the sensor as well. Those spring clips must be pulled out away from the sensor carefully to remove the sensor from the bumper cover.The easy way to turn RAB back on is to place the car in reverse (stepping on the brake and holding the pedal down so you don't roll), and look at the infotainment screen. You should see "RAB Off" displayed on the lower or middle left side of the screen, in or near the area showing the backup camera view.Same for me.
