OK. Between resynchronizing the users and restarting Spiceworks our problem has been cured. We did 2 things to make the system work right: resynching the users and then restarting the application. The restart affects far more than just login processing, so the reason the logins were erroring out remains unclear.Windows 10 login name replaced with Other User.
